Dress Code

Pinnacle Academy has teamed up with Salty Printing, to offer families a convenient and reasonably priced way to shop for school clothes in person and online. Click on the Salty Printing logo to find a wide selection of brand-name school clothes, all adherent to the Pinnacle Academy Dress Code Policy.

Grades PK–6

Uniform Shirts
Uniform shirts are required and must be white, grey, shades of blue, or shades of green. Shirts may be ordered or purchased in person at Salty Printing.

Outerwear

  • Outdoors: Sweatshirts, hoodies, and other outerwear are permitted.

  • Indoors: Outerwear must be solid in color or display a Pinnacle logo.

Fridays
Students may wear Pinnacle Academy spirit wear, including Pinnacle Friday shirts.

Bottoms
All bottoms must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.

Footwear
Closed-toe shoes are required for safety during daily outdoor activities. Sandals, flip flops, and Crocs are not permitted.

Headwear
Hoods may not be worn on campus. Hats may not be worn inside school buildings but are permitted outdoors. Exceptions may be made by the Head of School for religious head coverings.

General Guidelines
Students should be neatly and appropriately dressed. The following are not permitted:

  • Cutoff pants/shorts or clothing with frayed edges

  • Clothing with holes (including ripped jeans)

  • Clothing that exposes the midriff or undergarments (must remain covered even when arms are raised)

  • Clothing, jewelry, or hairstyles that are distracting to self or others (including facial piercings, unnatural hair colors, henna, or visible body art)

Grades 7–12

Tops
Students must wear button-down or collared shirts in solid colors. Shirts must be fully buttoned and may not be worn open over another shirt.

  • Fridays: Pinnacle Academy spirit wear is permitted, including House shirts and Pinnacle Friday shirts.

  • Midriff and undergarments must remain covered at all times, including when arms are raised.

Bottoms
Students may wear slacks, khakis, or jeans with no holes, rips, or frays.

  • Shorts and skirts must be at least fingertip length.

  • Sweatpants and leggings are not permitted.

  • Bottoms must fully cover undergarments and skin when sitting or bending.

Outerwear

Identification Badges
Students in grades 7–12 are required to wear identification badges at all times while on campus. Lost or damaged badges must be replaced immediately. A $5.00 replacement fee will be charged to the student account.
