The Admissions Process
1
Tour and Information
Please begin by filling out the inquiry form below. School administration will then contact you to schedule your tour and answer any questions you may have.
2
Review of Student Records
The caregiver will provide any pertinent documentation including education plan, report card, transcript, and professional testing/evaluation reports for Administrative review.
3
Placement Assessments
A schedule will be determined to allow for the child to visit a classroom and participate in informal assessment. We require that the child visit on three separate dates to ensure “good fit” and to allow for acclimation to the campus setting.
4
Placement Determination
The Director will contact the child’s caregiver to discuss availability of placement if recommended as a result of the placement assessment. *
*If a space is not available, “wait list” procedures will be discussed.
If placement is not deemed appropriate at the Academy, a list of recommendations and resources may be provided.
The Administration reserves the right to determine appropriateness of acceptance and placement due to goodness of fit for the student and the existing students. In some cases, a prospective student’s needs may exceed available supports, services, and expertise within our program.

Scholarship Information
The Pinnacle Academy offers in-house scholarships for eligible students and families and we are also proud to accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship through Step Up for Students.
To apply for in-house financial aid consideration, parents will be required to complete an application.
To help us objectively assess what a family is able to contribute toward education expenses, we use Blackbaud Tuition Management as a confidential third party. The Blackbaud Tuition Management analysis of a family's estimated contribution is a critical component of our financial aid decision. Our final financial aid award decision is made using the Blackbaud Tuition Management figures as the baseline for our own additional review, taking into consideration our total financial aid budget, other information we may have collected, School policies and procedures, and the needs of our entire applicant pool. Therefore, the Academy may ask you to contribute more or less than what is estimated on the Blackbaud Tuition Management Family Report. Pinnacle is not always able to aid all students who apply. We expect the family to make every effort to provide as much of the cost of the education as is possible.
