A distinctive learning experience

The Pinnacle Academy was started in 2001 with a clear vision of a private school that could offer an outstanding education in a structured, yet nurturing atmosphere. Years later, the school offers a private education to over 180 students and continues to grow and change with each passing year. Pinnacle Academy provides its students with the instruction, inspiration and opportunity to learn and achieve at their highest potential. The school is unique among programs of exceptional education in that it offers a blended approach to teaching and thus, is able to adapt to the unique needs of its diverse learners. We are committed to teaching and treating exceptionalities through research-based, best-practice methods. We believe we’ve created an educational community where students feel confident and motivated to learn, where they are understood and empowered, and where parents are taught to turn obstacles into opportunities.

Pinnacle At A Glance

Welcome to our school community.

Since the very beginning, when Pinnacle Academy first opened its doors, it has been my privilege to serve as a Teacher, Director and now Head of School. To help shape a place where students with language and learning differences are truly understood and supported has been an honor.

At the heart of our school are the Core Values that guide everything we do: community, kindness, respect, and gratitude. We believe that learning thrives in an environment where every student feels a genuine sense of belonging. Our community is built on strong relationships and where each individual is seen, heard, and valued.

Our mission is not only to provide exceptional multi-sensory and brain-based academic support but also to empower students with confidence, self-awareness, and resilience. We are proud to nurture learners who understand their strengths, advocate for themselves, and approach the world with empathy and curiosity.

Head of School

Our school is supported by a very active and thriving Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that plays an essential role in building community, supporting campus events, and enhancing the student experience. The PTO brings families and staff together through volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and school-wide activities that strengthen connections across all grade levels.

What our families have to say

  • "Pinnacle Academy has made such a difference in my children’s educational experience. It is more than just a school; it’s a family and a community. Pinnacle Academy has a low student-to-teacher ratio, providing children with an individualized curriculum to meet their needs. The teachers are passionate about making learning meaningful and seeing students succeed. Pinnacle Academy is a school where my children flourish."

    Kristine (parent of a 5th grader & 8th grader)

  • “We have been at Pinnacle Academy for over nine years now. My son has not felt more at home and comfortable at any other school. Pinnacle thinks outside of the box for each individual student and challenges them to the highest level that they can achieve. I cannot imagine my child going anywhere else!”

Molly (parent of an 11th grader)

  • “I wanted to recognize the entire team at Pinnacle. The teacher truly understands my daughter and her individual learning needs. She is so thoughtful, caring, and thorough. We just love her! We feel so thankful to be a part of the Pinnacle family and look forward to many more years together.”

Stephanie (parent of a 3rd grade student)
