This workshop will highlight some respected views on the evolution and development of “mindreading”, thought to be one of the hallmark deficit skills for individuals with autism and Aspergers.  The four components of the human social-communication system will be reviewed, along with suggested treatment approaches.

Enhancing Language Skills and Comprehension

Many parents place an emphasis on the development of speech and overlook the importance of language development and comprehension skills. This workshop will examine critical language milestones from toddler to teens. Find out how to incorporate language training into your child’s daily schedule.
